Research

The Atomic, Molecular, and Optical Physics group studies cavity quantum electrodynamics, atomic coherence and interference in multilevel atoms, and light manipulation of neutral atoms. Recent research projects include cavity electromagnetically induced transparency, quantum control of coupled photon and atom states, nonlinear optics at low light intensities, and coherent spectroscopic measurements.
