Neuroimaging-Medical-Physics

The Neuroimaging and Medical Physics Group investigates of the function and structure of the human brain using non-invasive, in vivo imaging methods, such as magnetic resonance imaging. Research topics focus on functional brain organization and connectivity, neuroscience image analysis and meta-analysis methods, and neuroinformatics and ontology development. Studies are conducted to provide a more complete understanding of how the healthy brain functions, as well as how specific cognitive systems are disrupted in various mental health disorders, such as schizophrenia, depression, and bipolar disorder.
