Professor Sargsian elected as APS Fellow

Professor Misak Sargsian has been elected by his peers in the Division of Nuclear Physics (DNP) to become a Fellow in the American Physical Society (APS). The nomination cites Dr. Sargsian's seminal contributions to the field of theoretical nuclear physics. Having elected Professor Rajamani Narayanan as Fellow in 2009, this is the second time that a member of the FIU physics faculty has been recognized by the society for his outstanding contributions. This is a great honor that is shared by the entire department. Congratulations to Misak! (Follow this link for details)
